From December 1 to 31, 2025, Mooresville, Indiana, will shine with holiday spirit as the community comes together for the Mooresville Christmas Light Tour. This beloved tradition, entirely volunteer-led, is all about spreading Christmas cheer, delighting children and adults alike with dazzling light displays, and supporting local nonprofits.
Residents and businesses are invited to sign up to be a stop on the tour, transforming their properties into festive showcases. Starting December 1, you can access the tour map on our website, where we’ve introduced a driving Google Map to guide you from stop to stop. Printable and PDF versions will also be available for those who prefer to explore the tour in their own order.
As you drive through the beautifully lit streets, take a moment to vote for your favorite display here on our website. The lights will be on nightly from dusk until 10 p.m., giving you plenty of time to enjoy the festive sights at your convenience. Please remember, the tour is for drive-by viewing only, so be sure not to park in driveways or obstruct participating homes and businesses.

The Mooresville Christmas Light Tour began in 2019, thanks to the vision of local resident Suni Johnson, who wanted to spread holiday cheer throughout the town. With the help of volunteers, she organized the event, recruited participants, and created the tour map. Over the years, the event has grown, raising more than $5,000 in 2020 alone, and supporting various local charities, including Churches in Mission, the Boys and Girls Club of Morgan County, and local schools.
Transparency is important to us, which is why we manage our event expenses and donations through the Community Foundation of Morgan County, a trusted local nonprofit. Every year, we strive to increase our charitable impact, and in 2024, with your help, we hope to raise even more to support our community.
