First, register as a Tour Stop here on our website. Next, Tour Stops decorate the exterior of your home or business with Christmas lights and decorations. Go all out with as many lights as possible! Think "Clark Griswold"! Please light your home or business nightly at dark until 10 p.m. A yard sign will be made available for pickup by Tour Stops to place in your yard (you will receive an email with pickup details). Last, encourage your family and friends to vote for your Stop!

This year, the Mooresville Lights tour will feature two distinct zones, each with its own First Place Winner! Visitors will have the chance to explore both zones and vote for their favorite decorated homes. We're also excited to introduce the Kids' Choice Award, where local elementary kids get to cast their votes for their favorite display. Additionally, our Platinum Presenting Sponsor, LITES4U by Sharp Lawns, will be selecting a special Sponsor's Favorite award, highlighting their top pick from the entire tour. Get ready for even more fun and friendly competition this holiday season!  

There is a $10 Early Entry registration fee and a $20 Late Entry registration fee to be a Tour Stop. We are offering a short term 25% off Late Entry Fee for a limited time. You will receive an email after you register on how to make your payment. Note that old signs will not be used, as we have a brand new theme this year. You will be emailed pickup instructions for the sign when registration closes. Hint: We have a special event planned for sign pickup this year.

You qualify to participate in this event if your address is in Morgan County and it is part of Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation's service area (you do not need to have a student in school to participate). This includes Mooresville, some Camby addresses (including the southern part of Heartland Crossing) and some Martinsville addresses (Waverly area). We will put your address on a printed map and also digital event map distributed publicly. We will also feature a picture and a brief description of your display which you supply on your registration form on this website. Anyone can find your Stop on the maps and drive by to view your home or business. We ask that individuals not park in any driveways of our tour homes, but if you have street parking, someone may briefly park to view your home.
